Like all the psychic arts, mediumship is a sensory experience that comes through the senses in different ways, either visually, or as a smell, a feeling or presence and so on. Also like the other psychic arts, it is not reliant on one sense, say, being able to clairvoyantly "see" the dead person or spirit, but a combination of sensory experiences which all add up to a reliable intuition that a genuine communication has been made.

I am a chartered civil engineer, chartered town planner, chartered environmentalist working sustainably. I am a widower aged 72 working on designing houses self sufficient in energy and dealing with their sewage waste, and large scale waste plants that will away with sewage works. I could go on.... My parents had been members of the White Eagle Lodge and I was involved at an early age. In the early 1980s I went to the famous Major Bruce MacManaway of the Westbank Healing Centre at Strathmigo, Fife learning about dowsing, mediation and healing. Started doing healing along with my town planning work.
